Highlights of 2010

At the end of each year, I think it's important to take a moment and remember the important events in your life, so here are some big things that happened in the Yager Family in 2010:

• Michael was hired at TTI on April 1st - such a blessing and answer to prayer!
• Because of us both being blessed with jobs, we finally became debt-free!
• My Meemaw turned 90!
• We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on May 19th
• We went on a vacation to Jamaica!
• Michael's mom got a new puppy and lost over 50 pounds - very inspiring!
• We played summer softball and the coed team won the division!
• Not a positive highlight, but the Cherrys moved to Dallas
• Several of our friends had babies (in order of births): Oslunds, Maders, Tracys, Stephens, Norvells, Pauls, Cheshiers, Spharlers, and Seedahs
• We went to the Texas State Fair again with the Cherrys
• We went on the annual NWYM camping retreat and took our dogs for the first time
• We took the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (still don't know the results yet)

And a little less importantly...

• We got LOST (sorry for the pun)
• We discovered a dessert place called Spoons Yogurt...if you've seen Michael eat, then you know that something like this is worthy of making the end of year highlights list!
• We rearranged our apartment...so much better now!
• Ginger swam for the first time at Lake Whitney over Christmas!
• We bought a new vacuum cleaner...and it has improved our lives!

In 2011, we have many things we are looking forward to, the biggest of which is that we hope to purchase our first house.
