Vacuuming Adventures

We are shopping around for a new vacuum cleaner because apparently the ones you can buy 8 years ago from Walmart for $30 aren't super high quality. Go figure?

So we're the type who don't
like to purchase something big if we haven't tried it out. So we checked our local Sears and made sure they have a good return policy. We selected a mid-range Bissell vacuum cleaner to start off with. We still don't know if we'll end up sticking with this particular model, but we were pretty impressed with how much junk it sucked up on the first cleaning. Let me just say that I'm ashamed that I never thought to buy a nicer vacuum cleaner until now. With 5 pets, this should have been a necessity from Day 1. We've lived in our current apartment for over 2 years now and the carpets have never been this clean. Look at all the hair and dust it sucked up in an 8-foot square area!! Boy howdy, I cannot wait to settle on which vacuum cleaner we're going to keep!

We really liked our Kenmore we got from Sears. It wasn't cheap but rates as high as a dyson does and it is LOTS cheaper than they are!
