We drove up to Dallas Friday afternoon to visit the Cherrys. It was so good to see them again! Saturday we got up early and drove into massive traffic to get to the Texas State Fair. We ate several fried food items, including: Fried Frito Pie, Fried Banana Pudding, Nachos (ok, so they were not fried, just normal cheese nachos), Fried Corn Dog, Fried S'mores Pop Tart (AMAZING!), and Vegas Fried Ice Cream. Michael rode a ride called Fireball where you go around and around in a circle so you're upside down on the top. I am impressed he didn't refund his food, like I certainly would have. The fairgrounds were pretty crowded due to the Tech-Baylor game, but we managed. Below are some photos of the fun-filled weekend for your enjoyment!
