Homemade Pies

Before Michael and I got bogged down in studying for the Fundamentals of Engineerng Exam, Michael went away for the weekend on a mini-men's retreat with some fellow husbands from our class. While he was away, I enjoyed the time to myself and decided to be a country wife and make two homemade pies. The only thing not made from scratch was the cherry filling (I had two cans of cherry filling that I decided to use up, but next time I plan to make the cherry filling from scratch also). They turned out so delicious! The taste of homemade pie crust is so much better than store-bought frozen pie shells! It wasn't that hard either, so I definitely plan to repeat this homemade dessert again. Let me know if you want the recipe!
