Lost

We are in a Tuesday night Bible study group, and the first one for this semester was on January 12. That night, the Taylors announced that beginning on February 2nd (a Tuesday), they would allow members from the group to stay and watch the final season of "Lost" because they would DVR it. Michael and I had always wanted to watch this show, but never got around to it because we were always so busy and had heard how addicting it is. But since Michael was done with school and we didn't have too much on our plate, we decided to try to catch up on all the episodes before February 2nd's season 6 premiere.

So that meant that we had exactly 3 weeks to watch 5 seasons of "Lost". This equates to about 103 episodes, where each episode is 45 minutes (minus commercials). Fortunately, all of the episodes are currently available for free online (ABC.com and Hulu.com), so we hooked our laptop up to our tv to watch the show.

Well, we did it! We finished the last episode of season 5 just before we left the house to go to Bible study on Feb. 2nd. We averaged about 5 episodes every day. It was intense! The longest stretch was on a Saturday that we watched 9 episodes in one day!

Even though it was fun getting into the show, I'm really glad that journey is over and we can just watch one episode a week. My brain felt mushy after all of that tv watching!
