The Rest of 2013

Well, seeing as how the year is over...I thought I might as well fill in the gaps since our last post.

Highlights of 2013
-We became crazy, leaf-eating hippies...a.k.a., we dramatically improved our health. Feel free to read all about it here.
-My cousin got married in March and we attended their gorgeous wedding.
-Michael turned into a legit craftsman. He built a square foot garden box, decided to become an organic farmer (while still living in our current house), and finished this masterpiece of a DVD bookcase:

Finally get to display all our movies...in alphabetical order!


But it's a bit tall for me to reach the top shelf :)

-He and the other husbands from the NWYM class treated us wives to a surprise date night that I'll always remember.
-We went on an Alaskan cruise!
-We attended an Imagine Dragons concert.
-Michael tagged along with me on a work trip to San Diego, and we enjoyed touring the city.
-We attended a Marriage Encounter weekend.
-He also tagged along for my work trip to New Orleans, but we also got to visit West Monroe (Duck Dynasty).



-For Thanksgiving and Christmas, we made an entire plant-based feast for ourselves...it was full-tummy-awesomeness.
