Michael was the entertainment for Anna's little sisters. He had our house plans rolled up and kept hitting me with them playfully, and so Bailey said to Michael, "You need to get your attitude out, you hit people too much!" She quickly forgave him though...
We also enjoyed visiting the Lovelaces and Wickershams in Dallas. Too many of our friends have moved away, but at least they are still within driving distance.

We're playing on a coed softball team again this summer! So far, we have won 3 and lost 2 games.

On Friday we met with the mortgage lender and turned in all the materials needed to begin the process of getting the construction loan. To translate, that means that we might be breaking ground in the next two weeks, but it could take a little longer if the bank is slow to process things.
This past weekend we didn't do too much other than watch several movies and clean the apartment. Although I'm greatly looking forward to a house and more space, I will always have a fond memory of our current apartment. It's been our tiny little home for three years and we have had many crazy adventures while living there. I must remember to take lots of pictures before we start packing.
Speaking of packing, if things go according to plan, the new house will likely be completed in October. Our apartment lease ends in December. We can get out of the lease early as long as we find a replacement tenant who signs a new lease with the owners. So our present dilemma is should we move in August when we know we can find a replacement tenant easily (it is a college town afterall), or hope that someone will be looking for a place in October. The first option would be a lot cheaper of course, but would mean having to store all of our stuff, move twice, and all seven of us live somewhere else temporarily. Seems pretty stressful to me. The latter option would cost a bit more if we can't find a replacement tenant and are stuck having to pay for rent in November and December, but at least we could move at our leisure. Let us know if you know of someone looking to move to B/CS in October :)
