Last night we played the other two teams that were ranked first in our coed league. We had a coin toss and the two teams that matched heads or tails played the first game, the odd team out in the coin toss got to sit out the first game. So we played in the first game and won (don't remember the score). Then we played the team that had sat out - it was a much closer game. We won 15-14. Michael took a tumble while running bases and scraped up his arm and knees pretty good, but he said it was worth it in the end!

God really challenged me last night with my attitude - the team we played in the second game did not consist of "good sports", which really made me angry. Plus, it was such a close game that it made it even more intense feeling. I finally told myself and the Lord that winning that game didn't matter in the big picture of life and I prayed for peace in my heart. By His grace, we won the tie-breaker and won the league championship. Because we won, we were given T-shirts too, which I am really happy about - I love T-shirts!
We are going to try to put together a team for the fall season, so hopefully there is more fun up ahead! Go Grace Bombers!!
