Since our canines are part of our family, I thought I'd update you on some latest happenings...

This picture was taken in June when Abby first had the abscess. We were all sad during that time because we wished she didn't have to go through that. The abscess returned almost two weeks ago, much smaller in size (like a ping pong ball), and so she was put back on antibiotics for a longer time period than previously. So far, it feels like the abscess has completely disappeared, so we're continuing to hope that this will be the final end of it.

We also tried using the shock collars on them for the first time two days ago. Ginger picked it up in a matter of minutes. Abby still is unsure how to respond to the shock stimulation and negative tone. She doesn't understand yet that those things mean "obey me now". We plan to slow down for her and try something simpler.
