For those residing in the B/CS area, you are probably aware that A&M is having student body elections. How would you know this? Because students stand at major street intersections holding up signs, waving, yelling, and doing everything else that is legal yet still very annoying. They also park themselves outside of building entrances with various creative displays to try to get you to vote for their candidate, making it nearly impossible to walk to work or class in peace. I'm not against running in student body elections or showing enthusiasm for a campaign, but does it have to be such an intrusive process? Can't they still get their name & platform out there in a more mature way? Is that just wishful thinking? Am I the only one who gets so annoyed by all of this? Oh well, I'll just keep taking obscure routes and side door entrances waiting for the voting to be over...
