I was eating lunch with my friend Jocelyn today at the lake behind the Bush Library, and I look over and first see two small dogs running around in the grass. So I nudged Jocelyn (since she brought her small dog, Bella, to eat with us) to look at the dogs, and then I noticed a woman in a motorized scooter..."Wait a minute...is that...?"
Yep! It was Former First Lady, Barbara Bush, taking her two pups out for a walk. There were a couple Secret Service men with her of course, but she was very nice and approachable. Jocelyn's dog Bella had fun playing with Mini-Me (the white one) and Baby (the gold one).
And the thing that really impressed me about this Lady, is how we both witnessed her picking up her dogs' poo. A woman who is so dignified and distinguished, has the humility to roll up her sleeves and clean up after her dogs. Very inspiring!

Awesome! My mom used to run a preschool at the church where the Bush's are members and Barbara would often come over and read to the children. She is indeed an exceptional Lady!
